Streamline Material Icons takes Google’s beloved Material Symbols and expands it. Dramatically.
We’ve added thousands of new icons, all designed to feel like a natural extension of the original set.
The Problem With The Original Set
When we got to work, we realized that some icons in the original set were too rough for real products. Many icons had off-balance strokes, vague shapes, and inconsistent form.
Expansion alone wasn't enough. We had to redesign them—icon by icon—to make the set actually consistent.
The difference is subtle, until you notice it. Then it’s impossible to ignore.
Follows Material’s Design System
Every icon in Streamline's set follows Google Material’s most widely used format: a 24px grid with a consistent 2px stroke.
That means you can:
- Plug our version into your existing designs
- Start new projects with our set that’s already more consistent
Available In Two Styles
Currently available in Outlined Line and Outlined Solid. More styles are coming soon.
Fonts to Pair With
They pair best with typefaces that emphasize clarity, balance, and neutrality. Like Roboto, Noto Sans, Inter, SF Pro, Open Sans amongst others.
NEW FEATURE Search For A Set
As our library grew, one pain became obvious: returning to a set. On browsers, you could bookmark the link. But in plugins? You had to keep scrolling. Now, you can search for sets directly from the search bar.
